MLW.com Content Writer
Description: Major League Wrestling is seeking a content writer to work under MLW.com's Content Editor on the content cycle for MLW.com. This position will manage day-to-day production of all content online including news articles, editorials, blogs, interviews, etc. for MLW.com and all of its affiliated web sites.
We're looking for enthusastic writers who have a rich awareness of MLW's history as well as a high-level of knowledge of professional wrestling and combat sports in general. The MLW.com Content Writer is responsible for the development of and scheduling of MLW.com features, interviews, articles and taking the initiative to generate and develop new creative copy for the web site.
The MLW.com Content Writer will ensure continuity among the digital editorial units and set the tone of those units accordingly. , Specifically, MLW will be looking to the Content Writer to formulate content plans, create and manage editorial schedules (both long and short term), develop distinctive tone and voice for editorial packages and site sections, manage the production of assignments, and manage other junior content writers.
Candidates must have experience writing copy.
Working for online platforms is a plus.
