Producer for MLW Podcasts
Description: Major League Wrestling is seeking a producer for its two weekly podcasts, MLW Radio and MLW's Konnan Show. The producer will work under the Executive Producers on managing and coordinating the production of the podcasts. This position will manage day-to-day production of all progams, write and distribute podcast-related media releases, schedule and manage guests, over see the production of the MLW podcasts including but not limited to editing and publishing the podcasts in addition to other responsiblities and accountabilities.
We're looking for enthusastic candidates with experience in podcasting and audio engineering who have a rich awareness of MLW's history as well as a high-level of knowledge of professional wrestling and combat sports in general. The producer is responsible for the development of new segment ideas for the podcasts as well as coordinating various items with our ad partners.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly organized and available to work with a constantly changing work schedule.
Candiates most have experience working with talent (does not have to be professional athletes but that is a plus).
Candidates must have experience and considerable skills with audio software, including but not limited to GarageBand.
Candidates must have experience editing podcasts.
A background working for online platforms is a plus.
