Post-Production Video Editor (Intern)
Description: Major League Wrestling is seeking a hard working, intuitive and creative Post-Production Video Editor Intern to work with our production department on producing content for use across all media platforms including broadcast and digital.
Responsibilities:
-Editing programming, digital shorts, promos, sizzle reels, packages, trailers and presentation packages
-Re-edit archival footage
-Voice-over recording and sound design
-Capture and conversion of media
-Creation of lower thirds, animation and rendering of graphic elements, logo, and visual effects
-Color correction and keying
-Output and conversion of final product in a variety of formats for distribution
-Organization and file management of media and projects
-Creative assistant in the development of projects
-Basic production workflow and standard practices
Job Skills:
-Extensive knowledge of all elements of Final Cut Studio, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
-Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, a team player, and willing to meet the expectations of the Executive Producer's vision.
-Have the ability to edit entertaining, fast paced combat sport-oriented content as well as interviews and other materials.
-Can think outside the box and be creative.
-3D Studio Max
(preferred but not essential)
-Advanced Adobe After Effects
(preferred but not essential)
-Adobe Photoshop
(preferred but not essential)
-Adobe Illustrator
(preferred but not essential)
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to work well without direct supervision as well as in a team environment
-Detail oriented
-Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
-Ability to work outside normal business hours
-Ability to listen carefully and implement creator's vision and directions accurately
Knowledge and skills working with Smoke, Nuke,Afterburn, FumeFX, Cinema4D
and DVD Studio Pro not necessary but welcomed.
